Theatrical Auto Body has been an important part of the Hollywood, Larchmont and Hancock Park community for almost 40 years. We have established working relationships for generations in all of these communities as well as Paramount Studios. Our commitment to excellence, customer service with integrity has established Theatrical Auto Body as a company truly dedicated to the customer.Established in 1969 by the legendary custom painter Larry Watson as a custom paint shop to the stars, Theatrical Auto Body became the place that constantly had show-worthy and exotic customs on display. Stars and studio executives would regularly stop by and share car stories and ideas with the always entertaining Mr. Watson. As years went by… the custom car painting era started to decline and the established clientele started bringing their daily drivers and family cars in for minor repairs and insurance claims. Theatrical Auto Body then began the transition to a more repair and classic car restoration oriented shop with a deep custom paint background. The unique union of a details approach to custom painting and the customers need for a shop that shared their concern for invisible repairs was a natural. We began to form bonds with the community and the studios that exist to the present day. Theatrical Auto Body is proud of our history and commitment to our community.
